System /Glass Selected:
100&150mm Front Single Glazed framing  using 10.38mm laminated glass with internal Jockey Sash using 6.38 mm laminated glass.
Challenges faced (size,energy,sound,structural,asthetics)
Noise rating requirement of 45dB. Overall size of internal Jockey sash was very large at 1800mm high x 1400mm wide.
What features are exclusive to Darley systems:
Largest Jockey sash available in the market that can achieve these heights and widths.
 


About the project:
A $120 million redevelopment of Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital.
The works will replace ageing infrastructure on the Hornsby campus with the STAR Building.
This building will provide a new home for Surgical, Theatres, Anaesthetic and Recovery (STAR).
